About Us - A little history behind the company
In the early 1980s, Curtis Miller began taking every course he could find in the not-too-common field of leather repair. Having grown up in the upholstery business, he knew that the repair of leather upholstery for furniture and automobiles presented almost insurmountable challenges for repair specialists and their customers. Among the most difficult problems were the flawed effects left by most treatments, and the difficulty of matching the color of the original leather.
Overall, He saw that, due to the frustration inherent in these problems, many businesses, auto dealers and home owners were being forced to replace entire leather upholstery coverings at an enormous cost. He continued studying leather and vinyl repair techniques, and he also began experimenting on his own. By the late 1980s he had developed a proprietary technique that made leather and vinyl look 'like new'.
He was pleased that his new process worked for all types of leathers and colors. As soon as he began using his technique in real world applications, his clients were amazed. They would search in vain to try to find residual of the damage or defect. Since most of these customers were furniture store and manufacturer personnel, and they could not find the repair, He new he was on to something and as the old saying goes... the rest is history.
